Claire first got in touch with us about installing a new bathroom in her home. There was no original plumbing to work from, so the supply and waste connections for the new toilet and sink unit had to be planned and installed from scratch.

Landlords must have the gas appliances, fittings and flues in their rental properties checked every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and give tenants a copy of the record. Keeping track of this across several properties, each with its own expiry date, takes time and organisation.
Here’s how we manage it for Claire:
- We keep the tenant contact details, the address of each property and the expiry date of each certificate on our database.
- Before a certificate expires, Renata from our office contacts the tenants directly to arrange an inspection.
- Our engineer carries out the inspection and issues a new Gas Safety Certificate.
- Renata emails the new certificate to Claire.
This means Claire has no need to chase a plumbing company to get the checks done, or to remember the expiry dates for each flat.
